The purpose of our visit to the Embassy of Kenya was to make acquaintance with the ambassador and her staff, and to explain the aims and methods of the Foundation. The Ambassador, prof. Ruthie Rono and her assistant Mrs Khadija I Yusuf showed to be very interested in the Matata Hospital and the Foundation’s successful collaboration with Dr John Malago. On the basis of pictures we explained several projects that have been achieved by the Matata Foundation for the Matata Hospital, as there are the construction of a kitchen, water purification, and a mother and child clinic. Ms. Rono let us know that she highly appreciates the work of the Matata Foundation. And we were very pleased with the hospitality of the Embassy.
