The Matata Children’s Hospital Kenya Foundation wishes to provide immediate help to all in need of medical care and attention in the Matata Hospital and to everybody in the surrounding communities.

The foundation also wishes to support the counselling of young girls and boys in an attempt to reduce the spread of AIDS-infections. Volunteers specially trained by Dr. John Malago offer the counseling.

Our aims are:

  • To optimize the Matata Children’s Hospital, improving both housing and sanitary facilities;
  • To provide medical supplies;
  • To train volunteers to give education and counselling to the local communities in a bid to reduce the spread of HIV infections.
