Op 9 mei 2011 heeft de Stichting Matata Children’s Hospital Kenya geld overgemaakt aan dr. John Malago van het Matata Hospital voor de aanschaf van een nieuwe watertank. Deze nieuwe watertank is voor de watervoorziening van de toiletten van de nieuwe kindervleugel van het Matata Hospital.
Op 15 mei heeft dr. Malago onderstaande mail gestuurd:
A picture of the tank bought from funds donated by the Matata Foundation, today we will start using the toilets in the wing if the tank fills up.
