The Executive Director Matata Hospital, Board members, staff and the Community at large today can smile of being in a hospital offering quality health care services; and more like a referral hospital. Following wonderful staff capacity building in various areas funded by Wereld Nood Hulp.
Today our children’s ward looks wonderful with the new beds which can be positioned in any direction according to the condition of the sick children. Several patients we have recently attended have vowed not to go to any other health facilities as our services are now more sustainable. It is hard to have a free bed, and at times we go back to our old baby cots if there is congestion. As exhibited by congestion in the children’s ward shown on the attached photograph.
