De opleiding van de staf van het Matata Hospital is gestart in december 2009 en is afgesloten in april 2010. De opleidingskosten zijn door Wereld Nood Hulp gefinancierd.
Op 6 april 2010 hebben de Stichting Matata Children Hospital Kenya en Wereld Nood Hulp onderstaande mail en foto’s van dr. John Malago ontvangen:
